The Scanstrut LMB-A1 is a self-levelling radar mount designed for installation on a yacht’s backstay. It ensures your radar remains level in all sea conditions and operates without any need for maintenance or power.
- Main levelling unit includes a finely tuned damping system that reacts to major changes in heel angle of the boat.
- Operates entirely maintenance-free with no power requirement.
- Bespoke 2.6m (8’6”) aluminium mounting pole supplied in 2 lengths with a hidden joiner piece.
- Cables are neatly routed down a cable channel for a clean installation.
- Extension pieces available for added height and flexibility.
- High strength universal base eliminates loading on the backstay.
- Base can be deck, transom, or chainplate mounted.
- Stainless radome cradle includes fine tune adjustment for backstay angle.
- Can be installed on both adjustable and split backstays.
- Nylon backstay bushing supplied, allowing cable tension adjustment by clamping around backstay.
- Additional 0.6m and 1.3m lengths available for mounting your radome higher.
