Protect your boats keel with the KeelGuard 8′ Charcoal, the original DIY keel protector designed to safeguard your investment against sand, rocks, and ramps. Engineered for durability and ease of installation, KeelGuard ensures your boat remains in pristine condition, extending its lifespan and maintaining its value.
Superior Keel Protection
KeelGuard is a powerful abrasion-resistant protector that defends your boats keel from wear and damage. By preventing the breakdown of the protective gelcoat finish, KeelGuard stops water from reaching and destroying the fiberglass laminates. This robust protection significantly prolongs the life of your boat, offering unmatched reliability in marine environments.
Advanced Engineering by Megaware and 3M
Every KeelGuard is meticulously designed with input from boat designers and 3M engineers. The blend of high-quality polymers and urethanes provides optimal durability and flexibility. The pressure-sensitive 3M acrylic adhesive ensures a strong, permanent bond, sealing the contoured edges to the hull for maximum protection. Additionally, the angled grooves create hydrodynamic channels that generate air pockets, resulting in a slicker surface and enhanced performance.
