Centa Centaflex M Flexible Couplings – Vibration-Damping Marine Couplings for Yachts (M-127 / M-160, up to 500 Nm, up to 4500 rpm)
The Centaflex M Flexible Coupling is designed for yachts where vibration attenuation is crucial. It providessmooth and efficient torque transmission, including in conditions where the rubber element experiences wear.The coupling range is suitable for engines in the 40 hp to 80 hp class (depending on propeller shaft speed) andhas been used on motorboats and sailing yachts for decades.
The design includes a turning retainer intended to maintain vessel control if the rubber element breaks. TheCentaflex M series is available in multiple shaft diameter configurations and torque capacities up to 500 Nm.
